Graphics Work
Just to round this out a bit, I went back and grabbed some of my typography work from school.
To make things a little more clear, the posters we had to make were based on a randomly selected fortune from a fortune cookie. Then we had to hunt down a quotation and an image to go with the fortune cookie. I think that my professor liked my cynical sense of humor and I scored well in class.
The Jan Tschichold layouts were the result of a 4 stage series of layout exercises where we were gradually given more and more things to include in our designs. The neat thing about the Tschichold work is that when Hallmark came by the Design Dept. that year, my professor selected my work to be part of a display to show them an example of what the students were producing. In the end the work successfully convinced them that the funds they provided for our lab were going to good use and they continued to provide assistance to the department in the way of cutting edge software and hardware.

More Mae's Stuff!
This is more stuff from '09 that I just didn't post until now. We have the poster for the 2nd Auntie Mae's Poetry Slam as well as the T-shirt I designed that can be purchased at the bar.
This is the original image I made for the slam.
This is the final image that was selected for the slam.
These are the detailed images for the T-shirt design. The text is on the front and the image is on the back.
Here's just a quick sketch of what they look like.
